Air read-only preview is available
Turn the serverless resources in an AWS account into a connected system map without granting write access.
Air is now available as a read-only preview.
Air discovers the serverless resources already running in an AWS account and organizes them into a connected system view. The preview is designed for architecture discovery, documentation, onboarding, and review.
What the preview maps
The initial discovery path focuses on the relationships around functions, including API routes, event sources, queues, event buses, workflows, and data stores.
The goal is not another flat inventory. Air groups resources around the paths events and requests take through a workload.
Read-only by design
Air assumes a dedicated read role. It does not deploy, repair, tag, or modify the resources it discovers. There is no write path in the product.
That makes the preview suitable for teams that need to understand an account before they are ready to approve any infrastructure change.
During the preview
Coverage will expand around grouping, relationship accuracy, and views that are useful in architecture reviews. The permission model will remain read-only as those capabilities grow.
